Always bringing the dark cloud, but still only one XBH.

Feels like it. 21 runs in 10 games. We already have a third of those, in three innings.

The team seems TOTALLY different now that the deadline has passed.

That was a big topic during the pre-game show. The clubhouse had a ton of weight lifter at 1 PM...

Criminy! How can a team that faced a 0-2 deficit in a best of 5, on the road, and one that faced a 1-3 deficit in a best of 7 on the road possibly feel "weight" during the regular season? (6 elimination games)

the losses caused a whirlpool. Once that got started, nothing was going to get them out of it. Then that funk-feel was replaced by anxiety of not knowing what uni they would be wearing tomorrow (or where they would live, etc). Not a lot of time to concentrate on winning.

Now that THAT weight is gone, they are releasing all that frustration in this game. Nice to see.
