Thanks for the props. Pretty much any team can win once they get there if they get hot. Some have a better chance than others like the Dodgers with their ridiculous starting pitching.

Cards won it all with like an 84-78 record in 2006 right? That's us!! Or maybe Pittsburgh...

I wont bet on Pittsburgh just yet. Still working on 2 consecutive winning seasons. Baby steps!

This game is far from over....and I'm still gonna root for a Giants win today though.
I know my team and how bad they can be, and how they tend to disappear for long stretches.

I also understand/agree with the stance that this is not a coaching issue. Players just feel the atmosphere and can't perform. I get that.

But this is two years in a row that this has happened. I am sorry, Angel Fucking Pagan is not Babe Ruth or Willie Mays or Ty Cobb. His absence from the lineup should not cause this. If the other hitters are that fucking dependent on a guy who is merely an above average lead-off hitter, than there are bigger issues with team than just a few injuries.

It's not just Pagan, also, let's see how the last 2 months play out. You could be right. And they could get going again like in the first 2 months, or closer to it.

If that is true, he just went off the page that had gotten him a half dozen really good starts, and then he got cocky and wanted to be Timmah 1.0 with the 96 mph heater?!? Dude, those days are OVER. Get used to it.
