Crawford, Blanco, Pence, and Panda are now on a combined “streak” of 3-for-98. Hard to top that ineptitude.

Panda is 1-30. Time to sit. And have a two hour treadmill workout every day. And eat nothing but rabbit food.

I remember how excited I was before the season for the Giants-Reds tickets I got (will be the Tuesday the Reds play at AT&T). That excitement is on empty

Giants cannot manufacture runs, and I think Noggin's stubborn refusal to do so is a huge part of it.

In the 11th tonight, the Reds did it right. Leadoff walk. Sac bunt to 2nd. Another walk. an out, and then a single to drive in the runner.

Right now the Giants are not hitting with RISP. Rinse. Repeat.

But eventually, they will. But you need to get them there.

Example- in the 3rd inning, Blanco leads off with a walk. Now if that is an opposing hitter with a leadoff walk, there is a drum roll of danger. Not so with the Giants. Instead of a sac bunt, Abreu strikes out. Then Posey walks. So Blanco gets to 2nd anyway. But maybe Posey is pitched differently with a runner on 2nd.

That was the only leadoff hitter the Giants got on tonight in 11 frustrating innings. They did walk 7 times, but struck out 16 times. :L

The bullpen came through big time tonight in tough situations, until JLo was left in too long. Again. Seems like every decision is backfiring.

But d@mmitall, I know that Noggin hates giving up outs to move runners over, but when the hitters aren't doing anything else, why not go to that? Don't these guys know how to bunt?!?

This was old three weeks ago. I don't know what it is now. Unbearable.

Nice plate discipline, swinging at a pitch that bounces between your legs. Why not swing at a pickoff throw to 1st? :L

Hey - you are making fun Senor Creosote's best offensive contribution of the week.

The Red's announcers (including Jeff Brantley!) were laughing that Senor Creosote got hit twice on that play - once on the pitch on his back leg, then square in the back on the throw to first.

If they lose today it will be their worst 10 game trip ever.

This will be a tough game to make up if needed. No shared time off.

"Neifi Perez is on deck".

Those 5 words STILL scare the shit out of me, even after all these years.

Neifi Perez would be about the second best hitter on the team over the last couple of weeks

It's a July 4 rainout miracle! NOT the worst 10 game road trip ever!
