I should have more clearly stated that allowing leadoff walks is inexcusable. Receiving leadoff walks is to be commended, applauded, and happen as often as possible.

That is all. Please carry on.

Buster Olney ‏@Buster_ESPN tweets "Multiple teams interested in Javier Lopez of the Giants, who has allowed an earned run in one of his last 33 outings."

MLB Trade Rumors: "Lopez has allowed just one earned run over his last 33 appearances stretching back to May 5, being used primarily against left-handed hitters. Since 2010, he has been one of the best LOOGYs in the MLB, with a 2.35 ERA."

Here we go again giving up hits to the opposing pitcher. How can we win when our lineup has five hitters and the other team has 9 hitters?

Are you channeling Chubfan again?

Timmy leadoff single.

Giants struggling for runs, so the safe play would be to sac bunt him into scoring position. So what does Noggin do? Have Towers swing away. Now one out, and Timmy still on 1st. I do not understand how the coaches do not get the concept of manufacturing runs. It is not that hard, really. Every other team does it. Is that sort of thing beneath us somehow?

Sandoval one of the most aggressive hitters with little patience at the plate in the league draws a walk for the second time today. Pence first pitch pop up

The fans actually boo'd Pence. Deserved, but shocking to see the defending World Series Champs getting boo'd at home (and home not being Philly or NY)

Fans are totally frustrated by the continued ineptness of this team. Those whose salaries are greatest are in for the loudest boos. I think only Posey and Bum would be exempt from booing.

Timmeh pitching lights out (with too many pitches, as per usual). Pitching to stay a while? Or pitching to leave?
