I just find it easier for me to laugh at the fact that we were shutout by the Cubs and the NL MVP last year, WS MVP, and $14M RF can't hit a ball past the infield with the bases loaded.

I'm sure that felt really good to Nate, seeing as how Bochy just wouldn't start him regularly for years, and even told him he wasn't a starter shortly before being traded.

WOO! I am actually excited about the chance of having a Top-5 pick. Oh I am sure Nate enjoyed that and I would actually laugh if he got that ball back signed it "I'm a starter for a team with a better record than you" and gave it to Bochy

Just because Sabean and Bochy worked their magic on a bunch of overachievers a few times does not mean they should keep pursuing the same strategy.

Just because Sabean and Bochy worked their magic on a bunch of overachievers a few times does not mean they should keep pursuing the same strategy.

But Gary Brown and Rogier Kiesch aren't ready to be starters. It doesn't matter if Blanco, Torres and Frenchy aren't ready either.
Old guys > young players who will bring some energy for this team and give a glimpse into the future

Well, it will probably be near impossible to catch HOU, but MIA, MIL, and ChiSox would be doable (if they continue to play this this). The Padres are winning big-time at the moment, so we could be tied with them for #5 worst team in the majors tomorrow.

Well, it will probably be near impossible to catch HOU, but MIA, MIL, and ChiSox would be doable (if they continue to play this this). The Padres are winning big-time at the moment, so we could be tied with them for #5 worst team in the majors tomorrow.

Yeah Astros and I'd say probably Miami are out of the question. Maybe if we could trade Lincecum, Pence we could climb the draft order to 3 or 4.
