It’s kind of a weird thing. If the lead off hitter hits a triple and next 3 don’t drive him in, it counts as 3 runners left in scoring position. Even if it’s the same guy.
The way the MLB box score works, yes. But there is also a team LOB below in the box score, and in your scenario, I believe only one (1) LOB would be recorded, because at the end of the inning, only one (1) was left on base. Even though he was left on base three times. And this would also go as a 0-3 with RISP.
