Neither surprises me. I have always said Cano is no Gold Glove 2B. He has little lateral movement, but makes flashy plays that fans love that trick them into believing he is better than he really is.
I remember earlier this season, a couple of people got on you for daring to favorably compare the value of Altuve to the value of Cano.
Turns out you were right.
Again, wasn't saying player vs player he was better but value vs value. I know you knew this, but for others wanted to clarify. I like that little guy and adding more payroll flexibility is a great thing...and I know he wasn't an option was just comparing situations I would rather have.
