In the 1st 42 games of the season, the Giants hit .301 with RISP and were 24-18

In the last 58 games, they have hit .218 with RISP and are 22-36
But 3-9 in this latest win. You know, new leaf and all that...

and re: cal's question about dealing Romo: I say no chance. i dont thnk we deal any players that can help us next year: Scutaro, Affeldt, Romo.

we might deal a couple guys who arent under contract like Pence and Lopez
I think we ride it out with Timmy, we owe him that even if we dont re-sign him. and we wouldnt get that much back anyway.

Scoots is pretty untradeable with that contract; Timmy and Herk will get QOs to insure the draft picks -- I don't see a team beating that compensation in either case.
