yup. this is an official "flush it twice to be sure" game.
Phuk you, Giants.
Phuk you, Giants.
I understand the team had been playing over their heads, but really, the Padres, against that staff?Mean reversion is a bitch

But its never fun in the moment. It's always something. I don't need to tell you, the best teams lose to the worst all the time during the regular season. They got swept by shitty teams in 2010, 2012, and 2014 too
Yesterday was one of the strangest games I've seen a while (if ever). I missed it on Blanco. What happened? What a rough game.
Jackson was HORRIBLE, but the Giants refused to just allow him to implode. At one point, he had only thrown something like 77 pitches through 5+ innings, while walking 17 and having 6 errors behind him (at least that is what it felt like).
When they did swing, it seemed like they were fouling the ball straight back. So they were timing him right, they just could square him up.
Jackson did not pitch well. Period. The Giants just could not get their heads out of their asses to actually do anything.
And what the fuck was that, Gregor? You CAN NOT let that happen!
He ran in on a bloop hit between 1B and RF and dove for it. He missed it and the ball went to the wall for a triple. No run scored as a result, but it was just bad risk/reward.Yesterday was one of the strangest games I've seen a while (if ever). I missed it on Blanco. What happened?
That just adds to the strange-ness of that game.He ran in on a bloop hit between 1B and RF and dove for it. He missed it and the ball went to the wall for a triple. No run scored as a result, but it was just bad risk/reward.
It seems JC had been under the weather since the AS Game, and even had some side pain for this game.I'm about to check out. This game is awful. Cueto started well and that pitch count skyrocketed the last couple of innings.
