Game time 1:40 Pacific (what the heck is with these weird start times??)

Span-8
Pagan-7
Belt-3
Posey-2
Crawford-6
Blanco-9
Pena-4
Tejada-5
Cueto-1

Padres just called up Edwin Jackson to make the start. Yes, that Edwin Jackson. He's still around.

Span 5-16, Ruben Tejada 2-13 but with a homer versus Jackson, Blanco 3-11 with 2 doubles and a triple, Crawford 3-8 with 2 doubles, Pagan 7-11 with a double, Posey 0-9 with a .000 OPS, Belt 0-5 with 3 walks, Pena 0-2.

Let's go Gents.

amazing how poopy I can feel after we start the game with walk, steal, 3 quick outs. They start the inning with a double. We are going to be playing from behind....AGAIN.

So far in this series:
Friday - Giants face very talented, but struggling, ace of the team, who comes with an ERA north of 5.30. He goes 6 innings, allowing only 4 hits and 1 run.
Saturday - Giants face Rule 5 pickup, with an ERA north of 7.000. He only goes 4.2 innings but the Giants only manage 3 runs on 8 hits.
Sunday - Giants face former big name free agent trying to resurrect his career with his first start for the Padres. His ERA to start the game was north of 5.40. What will the Giants manage off of him?

Jackson has only thrown 22 of his 46 pitches for strikes and yet the Giants are being no-hit through 3 innings.

Cueto throws 22 of 34 pitches for strikes and he's given up just as many baserunners through 3 innings.

All these baserunners and we don't have a hit? I haven't really been watching intently, but we've had a bunch of runners. Walks?

1-0 Padres and it feels like the game is already over, unless the offense begins to actually do something besides a weak grounder to 2nd.
