I'm with you. I've heard a lot of people suggest that Duquette deserves the lions share of the credit, which I think is fucking ridiculous.

I agree he should get some credit, but if I remember correctly, he kind of pilfered Pedro on his way out of Montreal (which, credit due, is a great pilfer), and they just opened the checkbook for Manny. They were both huge parts of those championship teams, but it was the ancillary moves like Bellhorn, Meuller, Roberts, Foulke, Schilling that impress me more.

34-35 since May 1st.

Not sold on that lineup, especially without Springer. They have power, but they're near the bottom of the AL in OBP. I'd be shocked if they finished 4th (or better) in runs scored. And their rotation outside of Keuchel/McCullers sucks.
