Basically, this whole group of "hitters" are getting less playing time. I think Crawford stuck out because, on better hitting teams, he would play regardless of offensive production.
When i think about it, it still baffles me how badly these guys' bats got so quickly. I get that hitters tend to regress in their 30s but at least a few of them should have slowed down a couple years later. They were all so sudden and at the same time. Pence producing elsewhere makes me wonder how some of these other guys would do on other teams.

You know, I'm going to really go out on a limb and say he'll be able to throw 7 solid innings and score a 4 PQS.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think he'll really go 8 innings tonight and probably dominant, getting a 5 PQS. I know, wild speculation, but tonight will show whether or not I know what I'm talking about. Hey, maybe the offense lights up the Padres' pitchers too!

I haven't looked to see if the rest of the league hits poorly at Oracle as well. If not, then I think its a culture problem and maybe park effects perspective problem.

Yes, i agree! I too think he'll hit a 3rd run bomb . . . probably in the 8th inning. If I had to guess which pitcher, I would say probably Robert Stock.

I heard Noggin interviewed before the game and he said Craw is dealing with a hamstring issue. A day or two of rest, and if it doesn’t improve, some additional tests.
