That sucks. One of the great characters of our generation (baseball wise).

I know he wasn't in SF for long, but I will always remember him manning 3B (across for Wendal Kim at 1B)...



Of course, nationally, he will probably be most remembered for the NY/Boston fight where Pedro tossed him to the ground...

It's true about Zimmer. Passed away at 83 years old. Rays senior adviser. He spent like over 60 years in the game. His only jobs have been in baseball. A great life.
