Cueto is amazing. He was very uncomfortable and still put up a solid QS.

SP Averages 5/6 through 6/3
IP: 6.8
H: 5.2
BB: 1.7
K: 5.7
HR: 0.3
PQS: 4.2

Today was the first non-DOM start by JC since 4/21. In the last 27 games, SP have 1 DIS (PV), 3 MID (Cain, Shark, JC) and 23 DOM.

Un-freaking-real.

Am I the only one reminded of 2010's pitching?

Injuries plus the suckage of Duffy, Panik, Posey somewhat. Duffy has been terrible.
The lineup is like a fence. It is strongest when every part is working. Once it gets a hole or two, it loses its value as a fence.

Especially when the biggest hole in the fence bats third. I hope this isn't the real Duffy with last year the fluke. He wasn't a touted prospect

Panik and Duffy have been disappointing, to be sure. Duffy has been a victim of BABIP, as teams have shifted the other way against him.

The biggest disappointment has been Posey, to me, as he is hitting below .200 with RISP, and until a week ago hadn't even driven in 20 runs. He's got to be more productive as an RBI man. It would be one thing if there were no runners on when he gets up, but he has consistently come up with runner(s) on base.

In 187 AB's, there have been runners on base in 90 of those AB's. In the 97 AB's with no runners on base, 47 have been leading off an inning. He's hitting .343 with a runner at first, but only .218 with RISP (55 AB's)

Posey is our best hitter, and the team leader. We go nowhere without him. But he simply has to drive in more runs.
