Williamson struggles and then gets a couple of hits, it just delays his trip to the minors for a couple of days. Pence struggles and then gets a couple of hits, and he gets to start and hit in the 5th spot (although I kind of understand the starting assignment, based on SSS numbers against Freeland).

Posey is still a clear starter, and when I talk about his weak bat, it is in comparison to his MVP numbers. Just last year he put up MVP-lite numbers. And he still hits over .300 with a .320 clip with RISP. Kinda Pat Tabler on steroids.

He had 10 last year and 15 the previous year. That was his 9th this year.

He is slightly over his recent trend, but not overly so. He is usually in 10 range for a season.

Yes, his GIDP this year is up. Yes, he has a history of hitting into GIDP. No, I am not concerned about it yet.
