What does that have to do with anything? Just because you are in your 70s (or whatever, it really does not matter) does not mean you know better than us.

You have your take. Great.

But you have no room for growth in any of your opinions. You do not discuss. You proclaim. Everything Giants = Everything good. While we are all homers here, we are not blind to the world.

We bicker, we disagree, we change each other's opinion, we respect each other. Than there is this other guy who just puts his head down and barrels through everything and everyone.

Duffy has pretty much ignored whatever level he was playing in since he was signed and just kept getting better and better.

He is the kind of player that really does not have a ceiling. He will dictate how far he goes all by himself. It really is a pleasure to watch.

It is basically just the QS on steroids...

1) SP must go 5 IP or get an automatic 0.
1a) 1 point for going 6IP +
2) 1 point if IP => hits
3) 1 point if IP =< K-2
4) 1 point if K => BB*2
5) 1 point if HR < 2

^^^This right here. I have no interest in a trade for another 3B because Duffy has been everything we could hope for, minus massive power. He's a good fielder, smart baserunner, while being both patient and explosive with his bat. To watch what I would call a "grinder" playing at a level that tells Bochy that he will not be denied the lineup spot has been extremely fun to watch.

Oh, I know! I'm pleasantly surprised with BOTH Panik and Duffy's respective power! And it never looks as if either is trying to hit HRs. I love our lineup, especially when healthy!
