I have been tracking it on an Excel spreadsheet.

So far, the Giants have scored in 121 innings that were followed by shut down innings, and 34 innings where the opposition has scored.

That's 78.1% shut down innings.

I have NO idea what the league average is, and I will lost my wife, family, and job if I have to track every team.

No doubt, but a lot of their talent was spending over slot on talent that had fallen, or like in the case of Moore and Jennings, damn good scouting.

That's why I really like the Trout pick. Still was a first rounder, but 20 something teams passed on him. the Angels did their HW, and were rewarded with one of the top talents in that draft.

And what about Trumbo? That guy when from Mark Reynolds 2.0 to Mike Stanton in an offseason. God knows how much work that hitting coach they canned must have put into rebuilding his craptatstic approach at the plate.

Next to Zero. Same with Timmeh and Bum (to a lessor extent).

I give props for Romo, Wilson, Durty, Ishi, Nate, etc, but not the top 10-ers. G's wont get credit for Wheeler, either.
