We have a chance today. tzill posted the initial post of the GDT. No offense, but BoB and MaysFan let us down during the COL and WAS series with their GDT's.

And tzill has predicted 6 runs. All things are back to normal.

Cain on the hill for the Giants tonight and it would be nice if the Horse can stop this weird stretch of late game losses. No need to panic as the Giants still own the best record in MLB. Their lead in the West has shrunk some from 9 1/2 just a week ago to 6 games today over the Dodgers. Cain vs. Danks from the south side of Chicago in a inter league match up. Giants need to put a win on the BOARD.........YES !!

No Pagan again tonight and I hope he is alright.

we have a good shot today, Danks isnt very good. Not sure why Blanco in, he's a lefty.

We didnt really feel the loss of Belt and Casilla at first but i think it caught up to us this last week. Especially Casilla these last 3 games. And look at today's lineup...even with a DH it's not much. Belt needs to come back soon

Morse has done an adequate job when he's been at 1st, and I have no complaints, but he is an OF. We miss Belt's bat, but also his glove at 1st.

Danks has pitched very well in his last 4 starts, though, with a 1.55 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, five walks and 17 strikeouts. (ESPN stats & info.)

Fair enough. He's not bad, somewhere between a 3rd and 5th starter depending...

Tomorrow is a bigger problem vs Sale. But we have Hudson...so I'm guessing a 2-1 game no idea who wins.

Again, why is Blanco who really can't hit lefties starting today? No other plausible leadoff hitter? Why not put Colvin in left and lead off JCP?

No way he starts vs Sale, right? Maybe Pagan plays tomorrow?

Sure but I can't remember a game Morse truly hurt us with his glove at first. But not having Belt in there has definitely been a big part of our recent scoring woes.
