And the first three Giants' hitters get on base, and come up with zero runs. Shocking.
Well, it is Coors Field. Hard to mount an offense in Denver...Panik gets on, one out. Three pitches later, there are three outs.
Hill and his powerful .153 veteran batting average can go home as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather see Arroyo or Jones up. If they posted those numbers, at least they are building something. Hill has look pathetic at the plate, which can be said for most Giant hitters this season, the last two days notwithstanding.
It really is confusing as to why Hill is still around. No matter what he does from here on out, he will not fetch anything in a trade, so what is the point? Kelby should be the UTIL 1 at this point, and bring up Jones, Arroyo or Heathcott to get some cuppo-time.
Same deal with Gonor at this point.
And Gonor has some Giants cache (same with Morse). Hill is just a hired gun.at least we've seen gonor have some clutch hits... maybe pinch hit once and a while while cycling the youngbloods through. but hill, no
These uniforms are eye-gougingly bad.
when did electric blue come into the rockies color scheme... bad enough padres, d'backs bailed on their original colors - this is just weird

G: 1-7, 10 LOB
R: 6-12, 11 LOB
Hmmm, which team is winning?
Hitting is such the #weaklink with this team.
