It's amazing how bad the offense is without Pence.

I may have spoken a bit too soon saying this was the best lineup they've had since the early 2000s

Still going to win 87-88 and get a wild card berth.

Absolutely pathetic showing at home. Poor pitching. Lousy fielding. No hitting. Nine home losses in a row. We really miss Pence. And we really need a reliable starter or two. THud and Vogey are hot and cold, mostly cold as of late. Their poor pitching is only highlighted by the atrocious hitting. Or lack thereof.

Gonna have to find their "big boy pants" soon.

Losing. To Seattle. Badly. At home. :L

The Nationals have been sucking lately too...that's baseball. We should be used to it by now, after 2010 and 2012 and 2014....any bad runs in those years?

Even though there were awful stretches, they did not lose 9 in a row at home in those years. Unlike last season with the hot start, they do not have enough of a buffer to play bad baseball for an extended period this season. Bad streaks are going to happen, but losing 9 in a row at home must take extra efforts of lifelessness. The part that's the most damn frustrating is teams like COL and AZ making themselves at home here. Now SEA comes in here and walks out with an easy win. Happ should be relaxed tomorrow knowing what kind of lineup he's facing, one that would have a tough time winning at Williamsport right now. They must still be jet-lagged from the NY flight, or maybe it was too cold tonight. Things are bad when the highlight of the night is some kid dancing wildly in the stands.

Dude have you flat out forgot September 2010, or June-July 2014, or the like? Read a book. :heh:
