I missed that they scored one late. They only have 17 games of 1 or 0 runs scored...

Posey is having a great year (MVP-worthy if the team were doing anything at all), but he is not a "feared" hitter. You need more power to be "feared".

And I am not sure I know who msg was referring to when he mentioned "2 ok ones". :noidea:

Giants with 10 hits today, 9 of them singles, only two with RISP. Punch and Judy offense, more Judy than Punch. Sad.

Giants now 8-22 with two walks or less.

We can argue cause and effect, but we are clearly not taking many pitches, and it is not working. Not. Working. Nor has this approach worked for almost an entire year. But change? Hell no!

Stokes, it's time to stop caring. This year is simply a bad one. We forgot what they were like, it's been a while.

Yeah, I know, but it is difficult.

SOmeday in the distant future, the Dubs will be lucky to win 30 games in a season.

Just like the 49ers have been the last few years.

Hard to enjoy less than mediocre when we have experienced greatness.

Agreed but it's harder to enjoy less than mediocre WITHOUT the greatness to remember. It's all good.

Before 2010 I remember thinking if they can just win one I'd be satisfied for a long time. And they gave us 3!

This year the enjoyment comes from other things like watching rookies and such. Not winning.

Stokes, let go and you can laugh at the season. Stressing over this squad is pointless. Just enjoy it for the humor.

Cueto is really screwing with the long term plans here. If we're gonna sell, we gotta do it right.

If he goes into the tank hard and opts in, that could really screw the team long term. This starting to look like worst-case-scenario with him.

To me, he looks he loses his focus in the middle innings, almost like he gets bored. He tends to be susceptible to the big inning.

I have to think he can be traded for a bucket of balls to a team not afraid of him opting in. If not we are only stuck with him 2 more years, which can be rebuild years

Get rid of everyone except maybe Posey and/or Bum and really do it perhaps
