This not the end of this subject for me. Check out July 5th where the Giants will be ending a 6 game road trip in a bitch of a place to play Washington where temperatures are sure to be 80's to 90's in a tough fought series.
Getaway day July 5th
5 PM EST start as the Giants travel all the way home to SF all night and have to play the Mets the following night July 6th at 7:15 PM WST.
The Mets play L.A. in L.A. at 7:15 WST. A nice little trip up the coast for the Mets. Snugly in their beds at least 5 hours of more rest and won't have to face sweltering East coast heat in Washington humidity that will make players hydrate at a outrageous rate . That flight might be worse then this latest. In fact it will.
You can say I am bitching whatever..this is a significant problem that has to be spoken about for the good and the love of the game.
I stand strong. This is not over . Something has to be done.
