All players in your starting lineup (hitters) must have started 300 games at the position you use them for.
Your Designated Hitter can be any player but he has to have played in at least 500 games.
All Starting Pitchers must have started at least 200 games to qualify.
All Relievers must have pitched in at least 100 games to qualify.
Your closer has to have at least 200 saves to qualify.
Your back-up players must have played 200 games at the position you use them for.
Every player will represent the team they played the most games for.

Can I change a rule slightly??

instead of where a player played the most is what team they are eligible, we should do it by the year we are playing with...

so if Bats Waller JR played for The Twins in 2008 then he is eligible Only for the twins...

And here is a loophole, if a player played for multiple teams that year, they are eligible for all teams they played for that year...


Reason for this change is that there are some expansion teams that are not going to have anyone available since nobody had their majority of their career at some places... at least not the good players...

I don't understand how this changes anything, most of us won't be using players from recent expansion teams anyhow. Kinda feels like it's a change just to make a change and really won't affect anything.

I haven't checked if it helps... But what I can tell ya is that we have 3 pre expansion dates, so that is 16+16 potential teams, with 15 picks...

I think it is more probably that a player played for the other 14 teams for a single season, than playing their bulk of their career...

I got a gooder idea why don't we just do away with limit 2 per team?
