and teams are lining up in hopes of playing us
We're not beating Denver Monday eitherWe'll probably be playing the Steelers. At this point all we can do is hope the Chiefs lose a game. We're not beating Denver this Sunday. We're not beating the Steelers.
We're not beating Denver Monday either
Can't lose home field in a WC scenario. If we lose out, we lose the AFC-N and likely end up on the road in Houston in the first round. To be honest, I like our chances in that game better than home against Pittsburgh.

Only KC can match the Bengals win total, and the Bengals own the head-to-head tie breaker for the #3 seed. If the Bengals lose out, but somehow the Broncos lose their last game with KC running the table, we could drop to #4, but we still host a wild-card game.
If we don't win the division, we don't host a wildcard game. The first 4 seeds are division winners. 5 and 6 are wild cards.
If we lose the next 2 and Pittsburgh wins the next 2 we lose the division. That would leave us as either the 5 or 6 seed..... If it's us and KC we win the tiebreaker and become 5 seed. 5 seed plays on road at 4 seed.... It would be us vs. Houston.
My bad, you are correct. If we don't win the division, we don't host a wildcard game. The first 4 seeds are division winners. 5 and 6 are wild cards.
