We'll probably be playing the Steelers. At this point all we can do is hope the Chiefs lose a game. We're not beating Denver this Sunday. We're not beating the Steelers.

I don't think anyone is beating the Steelers in the playoffs, not even NE in NE

I have a feeling, no matter what, it is going to come down to us having to play Pittsburgh in the playoffs and they kick our butts.

However, I have a feeling it may not be until the AFC Championship game anyways, because if they stay the #6 seed, and NE stays the #1 seed, which would be the best scenario for us with Pitt making it....Pitt would win their wildcard weekend against the #3 Broncos in Mile High, then go on to play the Patriots in NE.

The #4 versus #5 seed would be Houston and Kansas City. Winner of that would then come to Cincinnati. I would rather just like to see KC win, because Dalton can't beat Houston in Primetime games, as he is 0-3 in the playoffs and primetime against Houston. So I guess that would be our best path.

#1 Seed - Patriots
#2 Seed - Bengals
#3 Seed - Broncos
#4 Seed - Texans
#5 Seed - Chiefs
#6 Seed - Steelers

#6 Steelers vs. #3 Broncos (Steelers win)
#5 Chiefs vs. #4 Texans (Chiefs win)

#6 Steelers vs. #1 Patriots (Steelers win)
#5 Chiefs vs. #2 Bengals (Bengals win - of course)

#6 Steelers vs. #2 Bengals
- It might actually be better for us to play in Pittsburgh with the way Ben plays in Cincinnati, but I would rather play Pitt at home in Cincinnati than New England in New England. Have an AFC North Championship game again. The rematch from the 2005 game where Pitt took Palmer out to end our season. A chance to beat Ben in Cincinnati for goodness sake as that guy is ridiculous in Cincinnati. Exercise a couple demons at one time after exercising a demon the week before by getting our first playoff win in 25+ years.

How the fuck are we getting the 2 seed? We're not beating Denver. Denver isn't losing to San Diego in week 17.

I want KC in the first round. The 2 longest active playoff droughts in one game, plus the 2 worst time management coaches ever. The game literally may never end

If we lose out, we lose the AFC-N and likely end up on the road in Houston in the first round. To be honest, I like our chances in that game better than home against Pittsburgh.

I just want to beat Denver and get that #2 Bye and Pitt winds up #6 seed and runs Denver and New England out of the playoffs leaving us KC or Houston at home and then the ability to play the Steelers at home. My best case scenario is still our best case scenario I think, and that I will keep wishing for until it is no longer a possibility.

Can't lose home field in a WC scenario.

Only KC can match the Bengals win total, and the Bengals own the head-to-head tie breaker for the #3 seed. If the Bengals lose out, but somehow the Broncos lose their last game with KC running the table, we could drop to #4, but we still host a wild-card game.

If we don't win the division, we don't host a wildcard game. The first 4 seeds are division winners. 5 and 6 are wild cards.

If we lose the next 2 and Pittsburgh wins the next 2 we lose the division. That would leave us as either the 5 or 6 seed..... If it's us and KC we win the tiebreaker and become 5 seed. 5 seed plays on road at 4 seed.... It would be us vs. Houston.

our defense is too banged up, we can't beat good teams right now.

every year I say we need depth, but of course I'm not on the Bengals pay roll and the Bengals staff doesn't seem to realize that the NFL is a modern gladiator ring and people get hurt. But I guess it's hard to have quality depth, unless your one of the teams that seems to be able to handle it year in and year out.
