I want to complain about how lucky it was that Nigel Hayes of all people drills the game winning 3, but MJ hit a 3 to put it in overtime......so that pretty much evens out in terms of ridiculousness.

I still think we should have gotten the ball on the replay. But smart announcers said we have 14" piece of shits while you all have 50" HDTV

Your crowd continues to amaze me. I really thought it would die out a year or two after Pinnacle Bank opened, but even with a 10-13 record, you guys are as good as ever. It may take a new head coach, but at some point, the recruits will come. Who wouldn't want to play in that atmosphere?

Question 1 - Do we make the B1G tourney
Question 2 - if yes then, Are you ready for 2 huge wins and fucking let down in the semis?

Every team makes the conference tourney.

And in order to get into the semis we'll have to win 3 games.

It's amazing, after all the heart breaking losses we've been through in football and basketball these past 5 years or so, it never gets any easier.

I am so bummed out.

Sad thing is we had no business winning that game with 20+ turnovers. Gotta love the effort though by Roby and Jacobson in particular. Those guys played a hell of a game on defense.

I get so fucking frustrated when our big men put the ball on the floor near the rim. . Just go up fucking hard and draw a foul at worst. Way too many missed opportunities close to the basket either due to piss poor shooting or turnovers

Facts skerpokes? Or just a feeling. Have we had any dunks this year? I am honestly asking, a big dunk can turn the crowd. And it limits turnovers and increases the chance of getting fouled. Also why cant we have a "goon" that plays the last 5 of the first half first 5 of the second half. Someone who's job it is to get rebounds and drive in and get a foul put their bigs on the bench. Then Webster slashes to the hole when the other teams bigs are in foul trouble. It's that fucking easy

No facts. Just heard thru some rumblings that rumor has it if Timmy doesn't finish middle of the pack in the B1G this year that they're moving on. Take it for what it's worth, which is probably not much, but the guy I heard it from has some deep connections to the program.

Granted, a middle of the pack finish in the B1G this year is only a few more wins away. Knock off OSU, PSU and Illinois and we're right there in the middle of things.

I want Miles to stay at least another year with this crop of young kids. There's obviously potential there.

If Eichorst lets him go after this season I'll truly question whether or not that man is intelligent.

While I think what your guy said was true at the beginning of the season (I heard a similar story), I think that has changed now with the injuries and close losses. Like you said in the other thread, we are 3 baskets away from a very different season despite our injuries and youth. While he had a rough night from a scoring perspective last night, Jordy has improved significantly from the beginning of the year. The rest of the young guys too...it wouldn't take much with the end of this season and another offseason for those close losses (and WTF games) to turn into W's.
