Dacks, the difference is Crosby should be avoiding that type of contact. Its almost not "if" anymore, but when he gets concussed again, it will be his own doing.

I just see a difference between scrums, occasional fights, and headshots. I always fully expected Crosby to continue to get in scrums - if one of those results in a concussion, then it comes with the territory.

If Crosby gets hit with a flying elbow at centre-ice, different story.

I don't think he should be fighting either, but he antagonized and then fought. He caused trouble, then answered the bell. Usually folks get on him for not doing the latter, but he did this time, so I think the hatred here is a little unwarranted.

If he had flicked the glove away, and then ran from the fight, I could see it, but he stood up for himself this time.

He grabbed a hold of G and waited for the ref to get there before he threw a punch..typical of him. He did not man up in the least bit.
