Yeah, this hurts but doesn't hurt as bad as past years for some reason. Maybe because my expectations were so low (tough to win with 2 lines in this league). /shrug

It also helps that I can't dislike most of the Kings players and that I think Sutter is a genius. Hah!

Anyway, congrats once again Dave and Nate (and I think I saw Pete post over on our board?) and whoever else I'm missing!

I am guessing that the difference in goals is very small (6?) for the series
Two teams that were very evenly matched. Just like St Louis and the Kings were.
The West is not about out playing, it is about surviving. Two years in a row that 1-8 are almost equal.
I would like to wish the Sharks better luck next year, but no because that would be bad for my team.

Intense, nerve wreking but a damn good series. SJ def proved mental toughness going toe to toe and provided for a great series but home ice proved the victor here. I thought Game 7 was pretty even as both teams had their runs and both goalies dueled it out. I am definitely happy to see the Kings move on and play either Friday or Saturday.

For Williams first goal (didn't see a good replay) was it tucked away or just bouncing off Niemis pad open for anyone, hence the ability for J-Wil to poke at it and put it in just over the line?

MAKAVELI posts some pretty good stuff on youtube, but he also seems to have a huge persecution complex. I don't think a four game sweep and only winning one playoff game in the last two seasons can be blamed on poor officiating.
