His ERA is 4.66 after that shitshow.

That is one of the best ERAs on the team.

When he first got called up his ERA was in double digits for about a week, and a lot of folks were not impressed. He did turn it around tho and before today hadn't allowed a run it 3 wks.

They should be. The whole unearned run point is to show when the defense let the pitcher down. The pitcher's own defense should not be part of that stat.

I know you know this but ERA is supposed to measure pitching skill, even if the pitcher makes the error it shouldn't ding his skill as a pitcher.

Any more than when Bum hits a HR we can take an ER away from him.
