Giants just having batting practice now.

14-3 with a 8 run 7th inning (and still only two outs)

Schmitt and Bailey can hit some, it seems. Bailey now has a homer from each side of the plate (not in the same game).

Even Crawford has dusted off his hitting shoes and is 3-3 and now hitting .202

Interesting note....on the games first pitch Pittsburgh hit a double. On the next pitch they lined out. On the next one they lined into a double play. 3 pitches, 1 hit, inning over. I don't think I've ever seen a 3 pitch inning.

Yeah, they aren't gonna hit .350 all year but they clearly can handle the big leagues. Hope they keep up with the adjustments.

I once saw Kaichi Yabu come in with no outs runners on first and second.

One pitch. Triple play. The only triple play I've ever seen live.
