Well. the Fish score first. Game over. Giants are 11-28 when the other team scores first.
And 10-4 when they score first.

They have more wins when they don’t score first. Recipe for success...

Bum threw a respectable six innings. Why was he out there to begin the 7th? Noggin continues to let his starters (when they are able) to start that extra inning. Immediately, Bum gave up a single, and then MM came in to give away the game (pitching wise). Why not let the bullpen start with a clean inning? :tsk:

And the hitters continue to be missing. Who in Sam Hill is the hitting coach? And does it even matter?

Last rant, all the Fish pitchers are in their early 20's. I would not mind one bit if the Giants were performing as they are with younger pitchers, who are getting experience as big leaguers. But to continue to throw out there 30+ year old reclamation projects is just not a smart way forward.

And Yaz, in spite of three hits the other day, appears to be following Mac into oblivion. Aside from that 3-3 day, he is now 0-12 with six K's. Man, LF has been a black hole since Teh Lord left.

If Yaz continues to look like Mac V2.0, then I really don't understand why Tyler Austin doesn't get more playing time out there? He does this thing where he makes contact with bat to ball and he, I don't know how to describe, doesn't have to walk back to the dugout right away. He ends up standing on one of those white things that the other team always seems to like.

He's obviously way too young for Noggin to be playing very often.

Noggin may be playing the lefty-righty splits on this, as I think Austin has been used primarily only against lefties. He's hitting .333 in 36 AB against lefties, and .136 in 22 AB's vs righties. SSS, I know.
