Cuppo just means their debut. At least the way I use it.

I would think cuppo would be more inclusive, to include their entire first callup, assuming it's a relatively brief one. And a cuppo would include subsequent short duration callups.

I have always used it exclusively for their debut. But it is all inclusive in that Will Clark had a cuppo, Buster Posey had a cuppo, Barry Bonds had a cuppo, Archie Graham had a cuppo.

If you squint you can see the outlines of 2021 with this team....a lot of depth, quality major leaguers everywhere but no stars (Posey was a star of course). Maybe that works well for the regular season but less well in the playoffs? Great pitching helps.
