He was sent down a few days ago I thoughtSo, did they send Black down? Why waste a roster spot on a guy that they won't use?
He shouldn’t last deep into the game. If Wholestaff can keep it close thru 5 we should be okSkenes gonna carve us up today I fear but it's baseball so who knows
Maybe we win late again
That is what Flem is expecting. He was sent down a few days ago I thought
edit: he’s still on the roster…guess it’s Miller to open then Black
Yeah, I am going to agree with you now on Black, he is not ready. He needs to work on something in AAA. I will point out that his second time around in AAA was much better than his first, so maybe he will do the same next year in the big leagues (or maybe even later this year).Bed shat. Game over. No more Black…he’s not Phuking ready.
on to NY…a series we should have won.

It looks a lot like a stamina issue. It seems like he does OK for 2-3 innings, and then the wheels fall off. He is not hit hard, exactly, but singles, walks, HBP, etc, and pretty soon, 4-5 runs have scored. Maybe he's tired. Maybe the sequencing is not good. Whatever, it was a good idea to bring him up. He was dominating the coast league. Back to the PCL to refine some things.
Brutal.Jackson has given up 5 ER in his last 5 appearances. His ERA has shot up from 3.24 to 5.86. This has been a rough patch for him, and he's not getting any better.
