If, coming into this season, you were told that 2 months in, we would have 3 Aces, 1 #2 and 1 dog, I am sure every one would have expected the #2 to be Vogey and the dog to be Zito.

Nope.

We are spoiled by the pitching here, which makes Lincecum's performance all that more painful to watch.

Cain and MadBum and Vogey all look like the real deal. Zito almost has me convinced.

I was thinking that too.

What I do know is a team with as many holes as the Giants can't pay their no 4 and 5 pitchers over $40M a season. Cain, Madbum and possibly Vogey, make a non No 1 Timmeh very expendable.

I think he still has very real value to the East Coast Mafia though.
