Another in a series of just dreadful games.

Giants are 23-11 when committing one error or less.

Giants are 1-8 when committing two errors or more. Another 3 tonight, though none of the errors led to an unearned run.

OK, 2012 was about the offense and hitting with RISP. This season, in spite of being above .500, the issues are pitching and defense. The bullpen is being taxed because the starters are not doing their jobs. (Kontos looks terrible out there lately.) The mental errors are maddening.

At least we are not the Dodgers. But the Snakes look like they are for real. Sabey Sabes and Bochy and Rags better figure this out, quick.

I don't see it as a personnel issue, so I am not sure what Sabes can do. This is a locker room issue. That means Posey, Wotus and Bochy.

The pitching will come around. But I do think that Affeldt needs to lend out him BBQ tongs to a few guys to get a bit of a rotation going with Fresno (we need to see Rosario, Runz, Hembree, etc)

The Giants were falling back on weak-ass arguments like "He has 2 CY Awards", or "He has 2 rings", or "Just about every hitter who faced him says he is the best pitcher in the game".

What cheesy arguments.
