Nope x3

These are keys to VICTORY. Why would you go negative?

It's a yin/yang type thing.....I'm tellin' ya. tz needs some pantshitting (whether done by him or a troll) to balance his equilibrium out.

:heh:

Giants had 1 walk last night, and the Rox had 8.

Giants are 28th in MLB in walks this season, and 21st in OBP.

Giants are 29th (next to last) in number of pitches seen. They are seeing about 20 pitches less per game than the leaders, the Red Sox.

The Giants are tied for 2nd in the MLB for triples, so we got that going for us.

And the team is #1 in Errors (most errors by a team) with 38.

Way too obscure. I would think if the clue is "keys to victory," then the answer should involve only information from the game itself. Just say'in.

I don't disagree, although, these are all HUGE numbers for the game.

Vogey kept the team in the game, even though he did not get the win. He has done that all year (and last year)

The game was won in the 8th. It was won because the Giants were able to clump together multiple hits.

The team has had trouble getting the leg up on teams, so now going into the rest of the series with a 1-0 lead instead of trailing 0-1 is BIG.

Obscure? sure, but definitely important.

Oh, I don't know. A QS is a pretty meaningless stat...... I'm mean, come on, that's a 4.50 ERA.

????

Really?

The MINIMUM it is is a 4.50 ERA. It is an indicator of a guys consistency. Going 6+ while giving up fewer than 3 keeps your team it(at worst) and keeps the 12th guy out of the game. But these also include you 7.1 IP, 2 ER games as well...

QS does not tell the whole story, but I challenge you to find a stat that does.

How long do the I's have to wait before THEY DFA him, now? If they just wanted him in the org, not a bad idea to claim him then DFA him immediately.

They may have to wait one day, but I've never heard of a limit or deadline. And I have seen teams do pretty close to that : claim a guy off waivers (because he was DFA'd) and then DFA him 3-7 days later.
