Well, they’ve lost their center fielder, left fielder, DH and their shortstop. that doesn’t help the lineup
Most of those guys have “contributed” to the offensive output. Their loss in the lineup (except Conforto) hardly hurts production.

Well at least it’s not last year. I think they had the lowest team batting average and committed the most errors in the league If they ever get healthy they’ll be good
None of those injuries, except maybe Ahmed, were affecting play. They got hurt and were out of the lineup almost immediately. As far as we know, the offensive black hole isn’t a result of injuries.
Yes, their batting average and OPS ranks were worse last year so there has been some marginal improvement but the offense cratered in the 2nd half last year. Hope that doesn’t happen this year.

But if those guys suck, imagine how bad their backups must be. Yesterday's lineup wouldn't scare anyone and is incapable of any sustained success. They need their regulars back,

They'll have to get healthy because what they put out there yesterday isn't going to cut it. Soler, Conforto and Lee are good hitters and Ahmed is a professional hitter capable of contributing to the offense. They just need to start hitting.

What this puts out there when healthy doesn’t cut it.

They are only a quarter of the way through the season. If they are all still hitting .220 with no power on the other side of the break, I'll be worried.
