The tough thing about Mac is if they call him up, they can't send him back down again without him possibly walking. Maybe that's not a bad thing as it would force them to take an extra long look.

Alternatively, they could call up Chris Shaw, who's dramatically cut his K rate, while maintaining his power and a high walk rate, and not have to cut someone on the 40-man roster.
