They are good for drives like that but I dont agree that they aren't elite.
We've had some really good defensive performances. The only D that is maybe better than ours is Seattles. And thats debatable.

The defense just isn't very good when it comes to hurry up situations.
Fangio for whatever reason just doesn't call a good defense when an offense is in hurry up and trying to catch up.

Wahoo! Short rushing TD for Cassel. Vikings go up 24-9 over Eagles. This is one of the games that affects the 49ers for a playoff clinching scenario. Arizona also has to lose later. Can't remember if GB absolutely HAS to beat DAL or not, though.
