refs hate us. that was one of the worst calls ever. that was 100% clear it was a safety wow. nfl and refs are against us. even annoucers are saying how bad that was

They are not against us. Gore fumbled and the rams would have scored if they didn't call the same forward profess bs earlier.

I can't blame them for taking one more shot downfield. A team should have an aggressive mindset if it wants to win. And it was only a 3-yard loss. 54 yards is well within Dawson's range. He's nailed that kind of kick many times.

Maybe I just didn't see it, but the one replay they were showing never clearly showed when he lost the ball.

I am not sure how that wasn't a safety. I guess bad calls are going both ways in this game after they also blew the fumble by Gore that would have been returned for a TD. The NFL needs to do something about all the bad calls on obvious game changing plays.

It was still a fumble. And it would have been a TD had they not blown the whistle incorrectly. It's not some conspiracy against us. We just aren't playing well.

i agree. it wasnt 100% a fumble. that was clear it was a safety. 2 feet out of endzone and he went back into the endzone. that was bad.

I think the problem is the inherent hypocrisy in the rules and their enforcement. They ask them to make sure no one gets hurt (whistle plays dead for forward progress etc) and then say they should let plays play out so those kind of mistakes aren't made. Not sure what they are supposed to do actually.

I understand the player safety aspect, but that should have been a ruled safety then reviewed. The non-fumble would normally be ruled a fumble 9 outta 10 times. Officials were instructed before last season to let plays like that play out. It's just poor officiating.
