So I assume you think MVS, alex pierce, nick westbrook, demarcus robinson, calvin austin III, josh palmer,Jalen coker, jalen nailor, darius slayton are all GOOD receivers then?
Out of all these I do think Slayton with a better QB could have had a much more productive career.

How many games has he actually missed lately?
1 each of the last two years. Think two before that. hes always banged up though. And if not missing games…he avg 45 yards receiving and 9 rushing yards Per game last year. He has a qb

Then there’s this
heres the problem with that.
Think it was you (maybe someone else) mentioned he played in 15 games last year. (didnt complete all those games)
But he didnt play the whole game in many of those games. He has had nagging injuries throughout the year benching him in middle of games.
These nagging injuries usually only get worse, not better. Saying he played in a game, even if he missed large portions of them is misleading.
Still think this is a good trade for the Skins (depending on what new contract does) If he stays healthy(enough) for the next year or two. Can be useful for a team in "that" window. If he doesnt stay healthy & you dont redo a new contract for him. Merely cost you a 5th & some money you already had available.

But make no mistake. Injuries is a concern for this player.

Yeah I was about to post the same thing. Only missing a few games the last few seasons is deceiving because he left several others or player hurt and was ineffective. Injuries are certainly a concern which is why the cost was only a 5th. But it's obviously a great gamble for the Commanders with huge upside and little invested.

Decent trade. I mean it's certainly an A grade for the Commanskins and with a fairly deep draft at WR you can pick someone up in the 2nd or 3rd and you got a veteran to hopefully help bring them along. 49ers need to clear their books and get rid of the void years while they can if they are going to resign PUUUUURDY so makes sense. It's a fine trade for both teams. I assume New England was interested but they are probably drafting Hunter.

All said, if the Skins just 'use' Deebo this year and then move on or give him a 1 year prove it deal, I'll give it an A+. If they sign him to some massive $25M+ per year extension, it's an F grade.

Deebo hasn't necessarily 'missed' games (well some) but there's been plenty where he's not 100%. Sadly I have to follow the 49ers (YOU FUCKS!) because of Seattle so I know quite a bit about that team.... and the number of times I've read that Deebo isn't 100% by Hooplans or various San Fran fans/analysts/media etc. is quite a lot.

Anyway, he'll help the Commanskins and the dual threat option with Daniels and Samuel should be fun to watch. Now the Skins need to fix their DL/OL.... I would imagine this move means the Skins will 100% go DL/OL with their first two picks and then a WR in the 3rd. If for whatever reason Warren is there at the end of the 1st, I could see a play on that...

Good teams don't reach in the draft to fill needs, they try to do that in free agency. I'm not coinvinced they go DL-OL-WR with their first 3 picks even though that's what the fans probably want them to do.
