49ers sign bakhtiari

49ers signed OLB Eric Bakhtiari to a two-year contract.
Bakhtiari is taking the suspended Clark Haggans' roster spot. The deal is likely two years for bonus spreading purposes. A former undrafted free agent, Bakhtiari hasn't appeared in a game since 2009.

Hockey, I'm sure I've asked you this before, but being a New York fan, are either the Giants or Jets your second team? Do you follow them much?

Neither lol. I live in Az. Was born in NY but raised in AZ. Followed my dad in sports for the rangers, mets and Knicks but he never was a fan of jets or giants. When I moved to AZ a buddy and I used to play football in the streets back in the day pretending to be rice-Montana/young. That's how I grew to like them and have stuck with them.

Don't assume that. Many FAs off the street sign two-year contracts so the team can spread the signing bonus out over two years.

As of now, nobody since haggans won't count towards roster while he is suspended. Who know once the 3 games are up tho.

No worries. Im a niner fan for life, but i must admit a couple times i wondered about if i was a giants fan happy and the 2 recent times i would enjoy lol. Especially when they played here in AZ and beat the undefeated pats lol. But niners for life!
