Carroll is saying he won't know if Carson will play until after the pre-game warm ups. That is at least leaving the door open that he's very, very close to being able to go today. ESPN says that Carson playing today is literally 50/50 at this moment.

I'm still seeing Jamal Adams status listed as questionable. @Sharkonabicycle said he was out today. So I don't know for sure what his status is.

I'm reading that Carroll said he won't make the call on Adams until about 90 minutes before game time. From what I can tell it's not so much Adams groin that is the issue, but he was sick last week and missed all but one practice. So Carroll is concerned that he may not be ready to play with only one practice in the last month under his belt. We could sure use him out there today.

Hopefully he is out there. We need him slamming into DBs instead of rookie Deejay Dallas. The article I read was discussing how Dallas is struggling with his pass blocking.

I watched some youtube vids on his pass protection and he's had good and bad moments. DD actually came out and acknowledged he blew some assignments in the Cards game. He says he could see on film what he did wrong. So I guess that means he's learning and hopefully he'll be better each time he plays. Besides, we may not have a choice since our backfield is currently a MASH unit.

Adam Shefter now reporting that it is highly unlikely Carson, Hyde, and Homer play today. It's gonna all fall on Deejay Dallas to carry the load today. I hope he enjoys pressure because he's got it now.

In all honesty, this is one time I am NOT looking forward to the game.

Sure, we may have been shopping for other players to help in positions, but that means SQUAT when you have the same defensive coach and the same useless playbook he lugs around.

You'd be better off shopping Amazon for a better one.
