Not excited or freaked out provided the money isn't insane but could TB move to the slot and replace Rogers?

He'll turn 30 next season, I don't understand why we never make efforts to get younger at the position. Nate Clements, Rogers, Aso and now Brown. It drives me crazy. We need someone young who has long term potential to be a starter.

I could live with a 2 year contract for low money but anything outside of that is pushing it.

I just don't want to go to the other extreme with all youth......a mix of experience and youth would suit me fine. Wish Cooper could have hung around. Brock's an unknown as well. He signed a one year tender last year, I think. And Cully's knee is healing. Whitner(excuse me, Hitner) seems to be better with Reid back there but the clock is ticking on him as well.

We'll see, but my first thought was that this could be more of a good faith type move than signing a guy to a big extension. If that makes sense.

I'm not worried. I'm struggling to think of a deal PM handed out that upset me.

Yeah, I wished we would have had an opportunity to get a young good CB like Marcus Cooper.

No reason why we can't have veteran presence there. Culliver and Brock are both 25, and I'm sure we're gonna be looking at CB somewhere in the draft. Actual contract figures pending, I don't think there's that much to panic about.

These are my thoughts as well.

Brown has been good and extended him isn't going to stop us from drafting CB in the upcoming draft especially since we're looking at 5 picks in the 1st 3 rounds.

So you have to figure looking at our team that WR and DB will be definite priorities with those 5 picks.

I think, in this case at least, its more about doing the right thing over the "bonus" issue.

Im not happy about this unless we get him for cheap. In my opinion he isn't that good. He is a Avg CB that has a great game every once in awhile.

He's decent enough. He's arguably the best Corner on the team.

In the last few games I've watched I have not heard or seen much of TB he must be doing pretty good.

I wasn't thrilled with the Brooks deal.

He got something like $2.75M one year and only $8.25M of it is gtd. We could easily cut him and put Lemonier in full-time.

I agree usually on big plays its Brock and Rogers getting beat. I think he's doing pretty good this season hope he continues it.
