49ers Contracts (including 2012 Rookies)

I found a great site that breaks down the 49ers contracts, salaries, cap-hits, draft signings, etc...

Joe Staley's salary is okay IMO. You can argue that he needs a raise but let's see if he makes the probowl this year. However, other players such as Iupati, Bowman, and Delanie Walker all in need of raises IMO. Aldon Smith is not "underpaid" per se though it may appear that way; and I'm not sure we will be able to retain him once his contract expires (he may make Mario Williams' contract look like a punter's contract when it's all said and done with). Overall, we are in a greattt shape fellas!!

going forward its all about drafting, continue to draft well and managing the cap stays reasonable. draft poorly and you have to sign FA's. whether more FA's or higher end ones, both puts pressure on the cap.

Gonna disagree. This doesn't include bonuses and Iupati and Bowman are on their rookie contracts (thus why they're so cheap). There's no way I would renegotiate them with multiple years left. Walker...IDK. Let's see how this year goes, but I think he's gonna be expendable if he asks alot.
