I know this because John Clayton has the Niners with the second worst draft. He is always wrong in this stuff. Ergo the niners are having a good draft.

Its been awful as far as getting any help this season but maybe they are looking to the future. Not sure why though, jenkins isn't going to get any faster or stop dropping the ball and we already have James in Hunter.

IMO the Rams are having the best draft thus far.
I don't care much for Brockers or Pead. They're both solid players, but nothing exceptional.

Janoris Jenkins AND Trumaine Johnson (possibly a safety) will make an immense impact from the get-go.
&
Brian Quick, if he gets off to a good start in camp, I expect him to put up some superstarish stats as well.

Umm nice try fool, Jenkins best qualities are his speed and HANDS, he catches everything. Led the Big Ten with 90 catches last year and James is a 4.3/4.4 type of guy, a homerun threat we dont have, but keep trying

i think the purpose of the draft was to get talent that harbaugh can use in his myriad of formations. i'm sure if we moved up for decastro using our 3rd and took james in the 2nd we would be getting A grades everywhere.

if boone works out at RG, we just drafted two sub 4.4 guys who were ultra productive in college. neither one will be a starter but they could add a new dimension to the offense that revolves around gore and davis.

James and Hunter are nothing alike. I love the James pick, adds a new dimension to the offense and provides more depth for a backfield with 2 aging RB's. AJ Jenkins has everything needed to be really really good. And there isn't a 4th round pick this year worthy of starting or possibly even making the roster of a 13-3 team as deep as the 49ers.

james and hunter might not be much alike, but both can fill the role of 3rd down back. so james will be taking away touches from hunter in those situations.

I like the idea of keeping Gore healthy and fresh for the playoffs, so more balls for Jacobs, Hunter and James

Ha ha, Jenkins is more like 4.58 and played in probably the most pedestrian passing attack in the Big 10; a conference whose members are not known for their passing games. James could be a very good player except that we already have him on the team in Hunter.

I hate to say it but I think this will be gore's last year. He will be phased out gradually this year. I just don't think his battered knees/hips can take more any more pounding.

Sad but probably true. We will probably draft another rb next year...

Might want to check ur stats on Jenkins... Most of his 40 times were under 4.4. And the fact that he had such strong production in a poor passing attack bodes well for him.

Bullshit. Very, very few people run under 4.4. Jenkins is not among that group.

Jenjkins' own words:

A.J. Jenkins didn’t think he’d be a first-round pick

When the San Francisco 49ers used their first-round draft pick on Illinois receiver A.J. Jenkins, it came as a surprise — even to Jenkins, who admitted that he wasn’t expecting to hear his name called on Thursday night, and didn’t believe it when the 49ers called.

“I didn’t know if they were joking or not because during the middle of the draft my cousin had called my phone, but he was playing with me. I thought it was another joke and it’s just crazy,” Jenkins said. “It was the 49ers. I was so lost for words. I was so out of words. I’m just like, wow, first round?”

I smell, I smell a troll, more then likely some jealous NFC west team fan that is just mad that the 49ers have the division locked up for years to come
