@bksballer89...not to throw water on this series, because it has been entertaining, but as someone who probably follows the reg season more than me, do you think anyone in the east has a real chance to be CLE?

It depends. If Cleveland continues to play defense as they did in round 1 then maybe but hard to see. My best guess would be Toronto followed by Washington. I think those 2 can take Cleveland 6 or 7 if they play the right way but I don't think either win a series

Yep & regardless anyone coming from the East is going to get destroyed by the Warriors.

Washington simply needs more from their other players. A total of 4 points from Gortat in the 2 games in Atlanta after scoring 28 in the 2 games played in Washington.

Morris needs to be better as well. 21 total points in games 2-4 after scoring 21 in game 1.

The only guys who helped out tonight were Porter and Bojan

24 total pts from the front court - unacceptable. Former Wizard Nene had 28 the other day in about a half's worth of minutes. Their current bench will likely continue to be an issue so they can't afford to basically have no production from their frontcourt. You can't continue to ask Wall and Beal to do it all.

I was having a lunch conversation with a guy from BOS the other day, before the playoff started. I said the east is basically a tune up for the Cavs, and he trying to tell me the Celtics could beat them...I say man don't take that 1 seed for nothing, the real season starting now...if CLE is off from 3, I can see TOR taking them to 6, maybe 7 too, but that's it...I'm not even sure WAS will get out of this series.

Nope not at all. Role players usually play better in front of their home fans so my guess is Morris/Gortat goes for about 25-30 points in Game 5 which should be a big help.

Cleveland would mop the floor with Boston. Probably sweep them. At most they'll need 5

Most likely, KD is such a difference maker. My son the Steph fan feels the same way, but I'm not there yet. They need the whole team intact including a healthy KD.

If WAS gets 30 from Morris/Gortat...yes they will win game 5 no problem....probably the homer in me, but I'm thinking ATL makes this a game with 2 mins to go and Beal/Wall will have to decide it late.

Bogdonovic averaging 8.5 pts, 4.5 rebounds, 0.5 asissts, with a total of zero blocks and two steals in the 4 games

he is shooting 33% from the field and 21.4% from 3.

(thats against season averages of 13.7 pts, 1.4 apg, 3.4 rpb, 45.7% from the field, 39.1% from 3)

best game was last night in a double digit loss. He is REALLY gagging from the 3 pt line where they really need him to spread the defense.

Lmao.....If it was the opposite, and he was killing it, I would be trolling you.

So, I'm gonna eat my crow.

So far, you were right.

Bazemore showed up.

I've been killing him all year.

So, gotta give him props for showing up when it counts.

I just wish he was more consistent. :tsk:

Yep - I have a hard time imagining anyone challenging them rt now but stranger things have happened - we will see.

In his 9 games against playoffs teams (and Denver) prior to his neck injury, he avg 13 PPG on 45% shooting.....which is exactly what he is avg since coming to Washington.....yeah numbers sure are inflated against bad teams

Been busy at work today. Did Wiggy ever respond to this post? Or did he run and hide as always?
