I'd be surprised if we blew out our cupcake opponent next week. Our defense has improved as the season has went on, and the run game has shown signs the last two weeks, but we suck in the red zone. 21-17 sounds about right.

21-17 was my prediction for the Tech game.

We should kill ULL, but hangovers after a big win in a rivalry game and another rivalry game the next week can make it a closer game than it should be, especially since really we're just playing for bowl placement and player development at this point.

Well our D is light years better from the first game, you have to remember that we started the year with all new position coaches, those kids were all learning new schemes

But, that game would have still been the first game of the season.

It would have been more competitive than 53-6 or whatever it was, but you'd have to be a blind homer to think USC hangs with this year's Bama.

USCs a different team from the first game but lets not get crazy, Bama would still win like 40- 21.
All week Husky fans have been talking about the noise and it has made USC false start a few times but it hasn't rattled Darnold or USC.
Side note. Petersons trick plays look cool when his teams winning but if USC still has a lead late and he's trying trick plays it would give his team a sign of desperation.

If they beat Ohio State I'd say they have a chance, but personally, I think OSU beats Michigan fairly easily, not a blowout like last year, but controls the entire game, I think Bama would do the same. I've been wrong 98734786374 times before though.

If Bama and OSU both bring their A games, it would be a tossup IMO.
