It's very clear that FVV/Maxey is a physical mismatch. Maxey's foot speed is too much for FVV. He's a nice player but he can't guard Maxey in the open floor. Philly is pretty slow footed on the perimeter in general and usually on the wrong end of this against a lot of teams, but Maxey is the one guy who has serious quicks and poses a tough defensive matchup for opponents. The Celtics match up great against Philly because they have like 3 guys they can throw at Maxey, but teams like the Heat are also potentially at a disadvantage, especially when guys like Herro are on D.

I agree it is a telling number, but not surprising. It's do or die time for Toronto. If they go down 0-3 it's pretty much lights out.
