Him and Embiid makes no sense with how they can barely stay healthy for their NBA teams. Why would you want to start your year in August pretty much making the upcoming season at minimun a 9 month marathon.

The only way it makes sense I guess is if both the Clippers and Sixers get eliminated round 1 because it will give both about 2+ months to get right for the olympics which requires them to only be available for a month if you include practice and etc prior to the start of the actual tournament
