The end of this game was painful to listen to, literally. My chest started hurting. Delivering mail and getting tortured don't mix.

The way I look at it is like this: if we get that kind of SP all year we will win a lot of games. Jairo's big mistake was walking Utley. Kontos was just awful.

WTF happened to him? At this rate, he will be the DFA casualty when the team drops to a 12-man staff. He was arguably the bully-MVP last year.

That's actually how it is with most relievers, it's extremely common for a guy to have a good year or two and then just get mediocre. Obviously some stay good but if Kontos turns to dreck it wouldn't be that unusual.
